S03E08 – Birfday Show

show

Birfday Show by Tune Me What? on Mixcloud

It was Leon’s birthday – the last “in his 40s” – so obviously Brett (two years behind) had to take the mickey (or twist the knife, depending on how you look at it) with a playlist of songs about getting long in the tooth… and some hard party tracks thrown in!

So, you know what they say – let’s party!! (Of course, these days this means throwing in some mellow jazz as well so we can all catch our breath…)

In this episode we future the music of:

  • Amersham
  • The Bats
  • Bheki Mseleku
  • Dirty Skirts
  • Falling Mirror
  • Harari
  • Hip Hop Pantsula
  • Hugh Masekela
  • Motswafrika
  • Qcumba Zoo
  • Wild Youth

We also played a new track by Matthew v.d. Want which is for sale on Bandcamp for $2 and all the proceeds are going towards a fundraiser for a musician who needs urgent medical care. Check out Matthew’s BANDCAMP page for details.
