The Winner’s Show by Tune Me What? on Mixcloud

No it’s not a braai! It’s a Springbok rising like the Phoenix from the flames of defeat against Japan to triumph over Samoa! When you consider that Samoa is almost as big as Boksburg itself, this is no mean feat! To celebrate winning, we’ve decided to play a show of up-beat tunes that remind us of that feeling!

There is also a short tribute to the late Robin Lancaster and news of Robbie Robb and 3rd Ear Experience‘s European tour!

In this episode we feature:

  • 3rd Ear Experience
  • Dr Victor & The Rasta Rebels
  • Freshly Ground
  • Juluka
  • The Lancaster Band
  • Mandoza
  • PJ Powers and Hotline
  • Skeem
  • Springbok Nude Girls
  • Van Coke Cartel

The Rugby Show

The Rugby Show by Tune Me What? on Mixcloud

Even Brett’s total indifference to anything sporting was won over by Leon’s infectious enthusiasm for the World Cup Rugby, so we had to do a show to support the national team., so here is another 60 minutes crammed full of  ace South African music with even the most tenuous connection to Rugby, and, um, a song by Leon Schuster!  Hopefully we score a try!

In this episode the scrum consists of:

  • David Kramer
  • The Elite Swingsters
  • Johnny Clegg
  • Kalahari Surfers
  • Kongos
  • Koos Kombuis
  • Ladysmith Black Mambazo
  • Die Lemme
  • Leon Schuster
